Can't beat it for the price. A great field knife because it's not so expensive that you're afraid to mess it up. Cutting edge is strong, thin, and razor sharp. Easy to sharpen. I've abused it in saltwater, fresh water, sand, etc. and the assisted opening still works like a charm and the grip never slips. Great piercing knife and the serrated blade cuts through thick anchor rope with a single slice. You won't regret buying this knife.

This is probably the best knife on the market for the price. Benchmade makes a good one as well, but I''ve had problems with the knife opening in my pocket, and not opening when I need it because the lock can be difficult to manipulate. This Kershaw has a reliable and quick assisted opening device, and NEVER opens unless you need it. Additionally, the blade takes and keeps an edge like no other. The price makes it affordable for any budget. I have been carrying one of these knives in combat for years and it continues to be a MUST HAVE in my kit. jtp

The Kershaw Blur is a great knife. The assited opening mechanism is the best on the market and Kershaw''s products, made in the USA, are built like tanks. It is a Ken Onion design but Kershaw''s quality is what makes thw difference. I recently acquired a CRKT Kenion Onion design assisted opener and it does not reflect the same quality, ease of opening or sturdy feel of a Kershaw. To be fair it was less expensive but supports the old adage - You get what you pay for.
