I bought two of these. One for myself as a "back up" and one for my wife to carry in her purse. Two reasons I bought these. (1.) Had a .25 Raven in the 80''s. It was an excellent pocket pistol. (2.) The price.
The sale was consummated efficiently and the guns arrived in 4 or 5 days.
Positives: The price, it is easily concealed, it is versatile and this is important, centerfire is usually more reliable than rimfire, 3 separate safety features, etc.
Negatives: Price of the ammo, you must practice with this gun and learn the safety features, you may need to experiment with different types of ammo to see which is best for this gun (I did). MagTech 50gr. FMJ would not recyle consistently. Hornady 35gr. Hollowpoint shot consistently.
Summary: I would recommend this gun. I would also caution anyone to learn the operation of this weapon thoroughly,because, although these safety features are excellent in many respects, you need to be aware of their position if you intend to use this as a defensive weapon.
Once you learn the pistol''s operation, then you can have the confidence that it will be there when you need it.
Again, I would recommend this gun at this price.

I just got this gun and it surprised me how good it feels in your hand. Its small but big enough in the proper areas, making for accurate and fun shooting. Its a great ankle gun and a great weapon to start the kids out young the proper way and not scare them too much.

I bought the Phoenix Arms HP25A for my wife to have something at home when Im not. She loves it. I like it also. Ive put several hundred rounds through it with no malfunctions. Its a good CC also.
